As you all can see, we at pn take security very seriously.
Like you, we feel it's no one's business what and where we surf.
Some may not agree with us.
Everyday there is more and more prying eyes.
Spyware, trojans, worms are all part of today's surfing experience.
Many think using a firewall and heheheh norton will protect them.
Well think again.
Someone once asked me what the N was in their tray.
Well from that question, one can assertain that this user is in for a shock.
Using virus sig files from **75 will not help.
If you do not updated your virus sig files your cooked and rightly so.
A FW may protect you from crackers.(correct term)
An anti-virus may protect you from virii.
What protects you from prying eyes?
Some experienced surfers get this question wrong more times than you would think.
Using a proxy is a good start-but it's not enough!
For better security one must protect their variables.
Variables are elements such as your user agent(browser)
Refferer is another variable over-looked.(what site you came from)
These are just a few subjects that we cover at proxynation.
With my permission the admin here may post any info about me and I'll show this forum how to truly hide one's self from any nosey bodies.
All info gathered is totally faked as it should be.
Even if you don't join makes no difference to us.
We want people to be informed.
That's our mission.
Thank you for your kind attention.
