Okay so I work at a computer shop and as usual if a computer is locking up during POST we use a POST decoder tool. mine has USB and PCI options for connection. our new Networking tech for our internet side of the business tells me one day. "the USB connection wont read correctly because the POST activates PCIi before is does USB from the north bridge". ..now I have to call shenanigans because almost every POST diagnostic tool these days comes as a USB connection instead of PCI. why would companies make these tools if they didn't work?? But I am curious is there any truth to what he said? I fix computers hardware and software but I've never gotten into depth in how a mother***rd sequences.
