Hey all,
I just was wanting to know how I would go about getting a persons' ip address on yahoo messenger and/or aol instant messenger, without a direct connection. I know it's not hard with Linux, but I have XP and I assume there's more to it than netstat since that dosen't work...

How come netstat is not working? u have parameters of netstat use them like re*****ing very * secs, and if possible try to send a file and then look for IP in cmd. or use voice chat or webcam this works too.

That's true that netstat works when you have a direct connection with someones' computer. However, when you are in a chatroom, netstat can only show the IP address of the chat server such Yahoo chat server, not any individual user's IP in the chatroom.
