how can I retreive an email address from off my boyfriend computer. I know he is cheating and I would like to find out who it is with

what you need to do is get him on a chat (msn/yahoo) whatever one you use regularily, then follow these instructions

"To get someones IP you need to have a direct connection from your computer to theirs. When you have a connection established (example: sending a song or image file to someone else) open your MS-DOS window and type netstat -a or netstat -n
This will list all current connections, their host names and IP addresses. Happy hunting."

Just thought I'd let you know that I don't really care if I make you sick with my "questions always welcome" obviously you don't appreciate when someone offers help. Oh and the ... netstat thing that I wrote about was from a valued member of this site and I'm sure that if you read the message that was written you'll see that she was looking for his IP.

It's kind of sad people talking about being here to learn about hacking and they're just now learning about netstat...


That aside, there's a nice GUI netstat program called NetMon that can sit on your desktop and give you a current list of open ports and connections to your computer. Reading that made me think of it. I was just going to leave a link to it but every link google brought up lead to a dead-end. I've gotten several years good use out of it so I mirrored it at GeoCities:
