PCAudit
Overview
Summary
Pcaudit is a spyware program that *****s keystrokes, IP addresses, and other user information, submitting it to a predetermined server.

Vendor Description
From the doc: "PcAudit is a program developed to simulate an attack by a hacker. To determine the status of security on this computer, pcAudit will try to send data from this computer to Internet Security Alliance's server. If successful it means you either do not have a security program installed, or your present program was ineffective in blocking the data sent from your computer to Internet Security Alliance's server (which it absolutely should have). In either case you have a security problem"

Alias
Spyware.Pcaudit,

Category
Probe Tool : A tool that explores another system, looking for vulnerabilities. While these can be used by security managers, wishing to shore up their security, the tools are as likely used by attackers to evaluate where to start an attack. An example is an NT Security Scanner.

Spyware: Any product that employs a user's Internet connection in the background without their knowledge, and gathers/transmits info on the user or their behavior. Many spyware products will collect referrer info (information from your web browser which reveals what URL you linked from), your IP address (a number that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer), system information (such as time of visit, type of browser used, the operating system and platform, and CPU speed.) Spyware products sometimes wrap other commercial products, and are introduced to machines when those commercial products are installed. See also Adware.

You must be using a pretty crappy firewall(no offense). I tested the PCAudit Test against ZoneAlarm Pro, Outpost Firewall, Look 'n' Stop. They all withstood the attack.

Time to get a better firewall.
