Hi
I was just wondering whether or not it's possible for wesites 2 record your ip address, location and home address/computer id simply by accessing a webpage, e.g. a page on yahoo! groups. Also, could this information be garnered if you click on a link, and another page is linked to you, not the one you wanted. Would there be any evidence on your PC of what you tried to access? If IPs can be recorded, can they be identified retroatively at a later date even though you have a dynamic ip server. also, is there any other way of identifing a pc otherwise?
thanks
