Can you retreve Trashed Mail in hotmail

After you trash mail in hotmail is there anyway to retreve it back?
I knw prob long GONE... just checking
I was told so many days you can recover in you Xp system??? Amy know all about Hotmail.. I need to do some snooping on my wife..

I did find out in Hotmail you can check mail. CLick on re close mail then re***** and a person never knows it was opened.
