Hi guys

How do I hide my IP address when I email people
using yahoo or hotmail? Is it possible? And if not, do you know a company who would give an email account that would hide my IP for me?

of course, lot of companies outthere are able to provide anonymous email services.
check this one for instance
http://www.bens.org/
or maybe this one too

You can try this
http://www.privacyconnector.com
It use VPN solution to encrypt your Internet connection and make you anonymous surfing.
Just subscribe it using PayPal, and cancel the subscription immediately, you can use it for free without any charge (Because PayPal will not charge you at the trial period). But this server is very slow.....

For using yahoo or hotmail simple working http anonymous proxy server is enough to hide your ip address from prying eyes or you can use free TOR.
There is not any special proxy service needed for such a simply task like sending email address from yahoo/hotmail/gmail behind anonymous proxy server.

If your a bit more advanced, you can learn how to spoof an email. Here's a guide on how to do that:

Heh, Totse text files... Many of them are only useful if you can invent a time machine and go back to the 80s.

Lol, that's true, but this particular one helped me to learn how to spoof emails, and worked for me.

Many SMTP mail servers know about this spoofing trick and sometimes they block you from spoofing. If you make too many mistakes in the typing, you can get disconnected (It's happened to me before).

Just in case anyone had problems with using SMTP, most SMTP servers of email providers only allow you to send email to the provider's own accounts. So for example if you telnet to Gmail's SMTP server, you can only send messages to accounts @**********.
