Previously I used neowatch 2.2 and didn't get this intruder alert messages. But after switching to neowatch 2.* version, I am getting too much intruders alert messages as follows:
-------------------------------------------
" A computer at xx.xx.xxx.xxx has attempted an unsolicited connection to TCP port 80 on your machine. TCP port 80 is commonly used by the WOrld Wide Web HTT{ service or program. HTTP is used to serve and request WWW pages.
THe Source computer has scanned your machine for the web server. Personal Web servers, while common, are not always secure. Some personal web servers can be used to gain access to files on your machine.
-----------------------------------------
I am a dial-up internet PC, not a permenant internet server or whatever. why is it getting too much this kind of intruders alert. is it a bug in the neowatch 2.* version? or may be it is too sensitve to any kind of intruders. Normally scanning on port 80 won't give any alert in other firewall as well, i suppose.
Please help
Thank you.
