This is what i know so far, i have being playing around with telnet on my home network of 2 pc's for a day now.

once in, use like you would cmd.exe (command promt) basically the pc you are connected to u can use as though you were using command prompt on you own (that is if not OS are XP home)

for example, once "connected", to view the program files' directories, you could type:

cd c:\progra~*
dir

pressing enter after each... or (because you will be in cmd not command

cd c:\program files
dir

play around with cmd on your pc: start > run > cmd.exe

type help to see the list of commands

type the command you want help with followed by /? to get its syntax

i.e

dir /?

would give held on the "dir" command

hope this was of help, i need help with telnet to, as i am a serious nOOb

have fun

king regards,
