Can anyone tell me how to find the spy software my husband has on our computers? He is getting into my email and lying about it. He is in the IT field and I know he knows how to put these things on our system. PLEASE help me!!!! Thanks!

I have noticed the term 'keylogger' on my computer before. We have DSL, * or 4 computers on a server if that helps.

If you are connecting through a server then he can log all of your online activity. Websites, passwords, etc...
You can bypass his server while he is not home. Plug your internet cable from the back of your computer directly into the cable or dls modem that the server is pl***ed into. After you are finished online reconnect his server and act clueless.

keylogger, eh? Well that'll do it.
With windows there are only a couple of ways to get a program like a keylogger to automaticlly run when the system comes on. (considering of course that the spy software is on the terminal, and not the server, which can get all that info anyway)
Anyway, heres where to check:
Check the task manager. (ctrl+alt+del) and look for anything unusual.
Check your startup menu (start>programs>startup)
Check the registry, ok, before you bug out about that... use something like HIJACKTHIS or ASVIEW if you arent comfortable going the regedit route. Make a note of anything that seems unusual and google it up from there.
Check the MSCONFIG menu (start>run>msconfig>startup)
Now of course it could be called from some other executable, but you'll probably find it using one of the above methods.
Worst case scenario, install another firewall (like zonealarm for instance) and see whats sending info OUT, and if need be block it.
Run anti-spyware software like microsofts spybot beta, spybot search and destroy, and adaware personal se. Ususally they can pick stuff like that up, especially if its a more common keylogger.
Also you may want to check for txt files or something that are/were created recently. If you find something containing your keystrokes, you could have a bit of fun before you decide to rename/delete the directory its in (that is, if its in its own specialized dir.. obviously dont rename or delete a standard windows dir)
Hope that helps.
Like I said though, depending on your setup the server can usually get all that info as well. Best bet is to run the PC standalone off the network, as SyntaX****** s***ested.
...or get a laptop and borrow a nearby signal. :)
