Using My IP Address

HI,

Im not sure if this is the right ***rd to post this in, but at college on of my friends keeps shutting my PC down using my IP address.

I just wanted to know how he his doing this and if it is possible for me to do it to him, because i have his ip address.

There are some programs that script kiddies use to reboot, or shutdown your computer.

The best way to find one would be to search through google.

unless hes got something installed on your system that shouldnt be possible.

Make sure its not something wrong with your PC like a hardware conflict or something first.

after that:
Check for something he may have popped on, check the registry, check msconfig, check the startup folder, etc.

Also you may want to try asking him to stop being a dick, or face retaliation. For some serious retaliation a cell or home phone number is all you need. Generally people get alot more pissed off when you start screwing with their phones than their PCs... especially since they;re payin for it.
