is it possible to get the url of a person when they load an image.

For example, if I sent an image in an email or posted it in a forum could it retrieve the url on the browser of the viewer?

i could hotlink the image from my website..but how do i make it to retrieve the url on the browser of the person viewing it?

You can setup a counter that will make every IP that tries to grab an img to be logged. Well not only the IP, the browser used, resolution, country, etc.
