Hi Friends,
I'm using mobile GPRS internet on my PC,now everything is working fine and i could browse any website and upload files to remote webserver. But unforunately my mobile service provider has put my PC in a private network space (*0.) due to this some programs like camstreams not able to reach the window media encoder in order to pull the stream from my PC. This can be solved Unless I can obtain a routable IP address, other than IP addresses starting from *0 or **2.
Here is the IP address i get on my PC
start>Run>cmd>ipconfig

Ethernet adapter local area connection4:
PPP adapter Airtel:
connection - specific DNS suffix :
IP Address .............. *0.*54.22.**6
Subnet mask............. 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway........*0.*54.22.**6

So,Is there any trick to get a routable IP address address other than *0 or **2.
Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks,
SUNNY.

Hack into their router and forward all the ports to yourself? There really is no other way -- they call all the shots when they're between you and the internet.

There isn't any way to legitimately get a proper IP address, because all your connections have to go through them either way. It just depends whether you can find a way of getting them to forward your webcam's port to your local address. If you don't even have a static LAN address (*0.* or **2.*), then you can't even do that.
