locking a forum thread

do you know if there is anyway to lock a myspace forum thread? At one time you could string a bunch of quote tags together and lock the thread but not any more =(

As of now, there's no way to do that. Only an admin can lock the thread.

It can be done i've had my post locked by someone else, kinda in a little pissing match, it would be kinda lame to cry to a mod. thanks for the replies so far but I know there is code that will lock the page
