Hard disk network connection

Hey, I would like to know how can I access to my work hard disk from my home and get all the information I have on it, but with good security.

VNC or Remote Desktop, if you want to use it as if you are sitting at the screen. That means you open files on your work computer; not transfer them back home.

If you want access to all the files so you can directly download them to your home computer, try setting up an FTP server or remote administration tool on it. Alternatively, look into SSH tunnelling or VPN.
