Need some help with this keylogger

Im new and I downloaded this keylogger called elitekeylogger *.0 from elitec0ders dot net. And when I try to get it to send info to my email
it says cannot connect to server socket. Should I portforward? And if so what ports needed to be opened?

Their software is old and made by retards. Avoid.

I'm not really knowledgeable on the latest keyloggers, so unfortunately I can't recommend anything else.

I made a keylogger once, but I copied some source. It's not too hard with the nice API functions.
