hey guys, im new here and would like to ask a simple question.
im using prorat *.* and also using superscan and angry ip scanner.
ive been trying to find open ports of 5**0 for few days now, but i cant find not even *.
ive tried all the different classes of ip address and networks, but none show 5**0.
if im doing something wrong, but these scanners are so simple to use, why am i not finding this port?
if anyone could help me out, thanks.:)

Probably because most people are behind routers nowadays, and the percentage of Prorat-infected machines is going to be low anyway.

Mike is right on, routers and firewalls are much more prevalent than a few years ago. You might try the ip ranges of the cheapest dial up isp's, like people pc.com; net zero etc. The less people spend on internet access, the less they will spend on security.

man, it really worked!!!! i found myself having *00 5**0 port opened ip's!!!
i couldnt connect to none of them, im sure its due to the time difference.

It could be most pro rat servers are password protected.

It could be most pro rat servers are password protected.
thats true, but theres a technique to brute force into the victim, get the server exe. information, password and all. all that needs to be done is, copy that password, disengage, engage connection and a password prompt will appear, past that copied password and the client gets connected.
i havent connected to none of the ip's i just got, im living in china, so i guess the time zones will differ, im sure all of the potential victims are sleeping.:D
but, ill try again later.
are you a fellow prorater?
i can PM you the steps to get into a password protected server exe.
