Best Offshore Anon Web/Mail Service?

Hi -

I am new to the ***rd - been using anonymizer.com for some time for both anon web serfing and email, but I heard that the BEST anon web/mail services are those that are out of most countries legal realm - such as offshore. Seems the gov't can actually seize the log files of the anon service you use and/or set up a connection from their servers to do a trace. So, really, the service has a potential for gov't abuse.

Any feedback and s***estions would be appreciated.

Any such offshore / other anon services exist? Ones that do not even keep logs?

Zipkid, seen your post and have a scary answer for you. You don't have any privacy any more. The The Homeland Security legislation has passed the vote in the House and Senate. If you want to see what we are in for see http://www.darpa.mil/iao This is the office of information awareness. This is part of the bill the President Bush will be signing. You can run you can hide but Big brother is watching your every move:eek: :eek: :eek: The Homeland security Office dosen't need a search warrent either to spy on us. The 4th ammendment is toast.
