if he doesnt want it online and people seeing it, why would he say on here? that would be exactly what hes avoiding.

He doesn't have to give exact details... just a clue will do...
If it's his phone number and address he only has to write "it's my phone number and address". He doesn't have to write, "it's my phone number, which is *2* 45**2, and my address- *2 Milky Way...."
Or, he could just write "they're pictures of me naked", without posting the actual pics. :p

LOL, their not pics of me naked etc.. however obviously I'm not going to say.
However, i did read a story while doing some research on this, where someone else was in the same situation, not only did this site ruin this guys career, he committed suicide also, these things SHOULD be taken into account through google & other search engines, you'll be surprised how much these things can effect a person.
Everyone SHOULD have a right to have any information written about themselves removed & theirs no reason why google or other site engines can't find a way to filter these kind of results, the bottom line is, they don't care & they just don't want to (I know this from google's replies), which i do actually find quite disgusting when you think about it.
thanks to all who replied here anyway, i appreciate it.

That should be enough info on spoofing emails.[/QUOTE]
I read through these & don't really understand it that well (I'm not massively techy minded).
I will have to sit & read through again a few times i think to work this out.
Thank you kindly though :)

It's not disgusting; it's reality. Google handles millions of websites, and if you expect them to care about one person and their troubles, you expect too much. They will only remove a website if the owner sends explicit instructions to do so, and telling them "I have no proof of ownership of the content or even affiliation with the web******, but I want X site removed", isn't going to be good enough.
What it comes down to is you shouldn't trust someone if they are untrustworthy. If they find a way to post information 'you don't want online', then you probably were the one who gave them the information. If you're that desperate, go round to his house, steal his computer, delete the local version of the offending website, and use his FTP password to delete the website. Then feel free to destroy/sell the computer on ebay.
If you can find proof that this information is libelous to you, you may want to consider involving the police. Saying that, simply bringing the evidence to the attention of Google may just be enough to get it taken down - but then there's the matter of the thousands of other search engines and their caches. Another better alternative would be to contact the hosting provider of the website. Hosting providers usually have a strict TOS, and I'm sure libel and personally offensive documents would break some rules. If the hosting provider is free, as much as telling them "I don't like X site. Remove it." can be enough to get a site taken down.
