For the record, the thread title is too ambiguous, and doesn't help me to answer. But,

If you are asking about sniffing packets travelling through the router, it would have to be something that's already built in to the router's web interface, since you generally can't add software to routers (unless it's a pc anyways).

You can run sniffers on computers in the router's LAN, but they are not necessarily going to have access to all the segments of the network's traffic flow.

So you can't just 'put' a sniffer on your router, but I s***est you look through it's web based interface and see what features it offers you; and it will probably offer you some sort of logging feature.
