Chaining Proxies
I'm using IE and I want to chain HTTPand/or SOCKS proxies. I've tried using SocksChain, the -_- method,(http://proxy*:port/http://proxy2:port/http://www.url.com) in the address bar, and entering them in the proxy server address in IE Internet Options - Connections - Settings with a space between the ip addresses. But none of these methods seem to work. I hear that the proxy needs to support tunneling to chain them. Is this true? If so how would I check a proxy for tunneling capability and how would I configure my proxies in a chain?

I have not understood your problem. With SockChain *.5 you don'n need use methods like above. All you have to do is check in IE connection properties "use proxy server for this connection" flag, then in "advanced" dialog prompt *27.0.0.* and *08* in Socks field, leaving ather fields blank. SockChain must be running. In SockChain: Tools->Proxy Manager->Download, then Test All, then Close. Now you have list of working proxies. Then in Service->New dialog you can build a chain of proxies manualy or automatically. In first case just uncheck "Auto-creating chain" flag and select proxy from the list then press Add
