watching this video i decided to test this out by making an yahoo account and and gmail account with the name testytest anyway it didnt work... so has this been patched?

I haven't looked at the clip your talking about but there are tons of fake clips online. Especially ones having to do with popular things that way everyone all over the internet gets to see their pretty face. Assholes.
@coz - I guess I can understand where you're coming from, but I can assure you that method in the clip worked, at the time.
I think Yahoo! has already patched that little bug.
yah i figured it out... the target email receives an email from yahoo saying you need to activate this alternative email... pretty stupid
