MySpace Password Cracker

Hi everyone! I am new to the forums. I am looking for an "easy-to-use" password cracker to get on to a friend's MySpace account. He is spreading viscious lies and rumors about me. He has now made his profile "private" where I cannot see what anyone is posting on his page. He also removed me as a friend so I cannot see any of his bulletins/blogs. I KNOW his email address he logs in with. Can I sign on to his account with my computer pretending to be him? Can I use my OWN computer and his login to crack the password on his account or do I have to remotely access his? ALso, is there anything out there that is free or reasonably priced that will allow me to do this from my own computer in a relatively safe and expeditious manner? Will he have ANY knowledge that I have hacked into his account? I also need a program that will not take up a large amount of diskspace. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Er, computercuite, I'm gonna try to be as helpful as I can.

*) Do you have the password hash (encrypted version of the password)? If you do, download a program called Cain, it can crack many hashes. If you have a hash, it's probably MD5, because many sites use that.

2) If you don't, I don't think there's much chance. But if MySpace gives you unlimited chances to try logging in, then use a bruteforcer (a program that tries to guess every possible combonation of letters, numbers, and symbols) I don't know any good ones. I also don't have too much experience with MySpace, so I don't know how many login tries you get.

Um, well computercutie, I think you should explore the hacking field a bit more. It's very fun and rewarding, and with dedication, persistence, and a creative mind, you could be the next Kevin Mitnick.

I KNOW NOTHING about hacking and really have no desire to take the time to learn it. I asked a simple question or at least what I thought was one...my mistake! You're probably some young "candy-assed know-it-all" that sits at a computer for hours looking at porn because you can't get a real live date. I've been a nurse for almost ** years *a damn good one*...it has nothing to do with my level of intelligence...however, I am sure mine is much greater than yours as a whole. Let's hope that you aren't as RUDE to your patients/clients as you were to me when they ask a question about something they are not well-informed about.

Hello Moonbat. I'm not sure if MySpace uses encrypted passwords or not. They do allow multiple login attempts, though. I have read a little about the brute force programs, but I don't know how easy they are to use. Thank YOU for your assistance!

the rudeness you speak of come from countless people asking the same thing over and over again... your question being one of them.

myspace DOES have bruteforce protection. They may allow mutliple login attempts (around *0 or so) but then you'll notice the visual confirmation field come into play....

Verification : Please enter the text from the image above:

which is there solely to stop an automated program, particularly a bruteforce program from working effectively. If you dont enter the correct string given in the visual confirmation, at that point you can put in the correct username and password and it will not allow a login without the proper string in the proper field as well. Its a simple CAPTCHA method (google it if you want)

While we're on the subject, bruteforcing is the noisiest way to gain access to something (even if there werent any security measures in place, and in this case there are) thus, you can and often will be caught, or at least the activity noticed and acted upon.

500,000 failed login attempts tend to raise some eyebrows.

As Im sure you know, theres more than one way to skin a cat. Depending on your particular situation, how far you want to go and your level of craftiness you may have an abundance of other methods of revenge available to you.

Who cares what yet another dumb fuck is writing about on myspace?
Go throw a rock through his window or place a homosexual personal ad or sell his car for him in the local paper, complain to myspace and have them axe his account or something or sign his email account up to all the spam you can find, and that failing just post his email EVERYWHERE on forums like these and someone is bound to screw/w it or some spam bot will pick it up in a crawl if you cant let it go and it'll make you feel better.

Well, I apologize. I am brand new to these fora and I did not do a search to see if this particular topic had been discussed before.

I certainly don't want to do anything that is going to "come back" on me or get me into trouble. This is NOT about revenge. I just wanted to see what is being said about me in his private email there. I don't think that he is saying anything publicly about me, so I can't complain to MySpace. If I did make any sort of complaint, I would have to have some sort of evidence to back it up. I deleted myself from his page...he would have done it eventually and now he has made his profile private so I cannot see if anything is being said on it. He's not a "dumb fuck" by any stretch of the imagination neither am I.

I have no intention of doing anything harmful to him although the spam, etc. might be a bit of an inconvenience...LOL Also, I happen to know he does not have virus protection, etc. on his computer and what a shame it would be for him to get one! He's not going to open any attachments from me or anyone else he does not know, though. How would I go about finding sites like that to sign him up for spam? I LOVE the homosexual ad idea...however, he would KNOW who placed it unfortunately. I have to do something that cannot be directly traced back to me. Thanks for any advice!

Believe it or not, hacking/programming requires a level of intelligence much greater than most jobs or tasks in life. Hackers and programmers are the intelligent people.

Try [url]www.listopt.com[/url] - it allows signing up to multiple 'mailing' (read: spam) lists. But, I think it requires confirmation on the recipient's end...

It would be easy to write a program to send a load of spam to an email address.

No, I wanted to use the word "live" in the context as I used it. I meant that in the context that a COMPUTER is not a "live" object...it's inanimate. I didn't want to use the word "life"...although, I meant to imply if you had a REAL LIFE? Perhaps your "superior" intelligence missed that.

Ummmm...not really interested in learning any programming. I don't disagree that IT/computer people are intelligent. Apparently, they think they are smarter than everyone else is, or at least some of them do.

I guess I will have to inconvenience myself and just sign him up for some spam by going to individual sites. I still think the telemarketing idea is brilliant...wish I could give out his cell number...what a pain in the butt that would be for him! LOL
