    Well according to me ASP. Net will be the best language for making the dynamic website. In ASP. Net there are different languages can be used like c++, C# etc. You have not mention that you have any background of any languages or not. If not than it will be too much tough for you to use this language. But if you know any of them than it will be easy for you. In ASP. Net if you choose C# than it will be the best choice for you.

    PHP is a recursive acronym for PHP Hypertext Processor. Unlike the other offerings listed, PHP is designed specifically for server-side programming, which means that its library is specialized for the tasks you'll be doing over and over again in the course of programming your website. PHP also has the advantage of being able to interweave code with HTML, thus allowing you to mix layout with programming. While this does simplify coding for small sites, it does carry the potential to be abused, resulting in difficult to manage or maintain code for larger projects. Proper use of a templating system such as smarty should do wonders towards preventing that. PHP is available for most operating systems including Unix and Windows and is an excellent server-side programming language for professional programming.

    Open source and business-friendly, Tcl is a mature yet evolving language that is truly cross platform, easily deployed and highly extensible.

    Tk is a graphical user interface toolkit that takes developing desktop applications to a higher level than conventional approaches. Tk is the standard GUI not only for Tcl, but for many other dynamic languages, and can produce rich, native applications that run unchanged across Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and more.

    There are a number of ways to measure the popularity of a programming language, for example, based on the number of:

    * New applications written in the language
    * Existing applications written in the language
    * Developers that use the language primarily
    * Developers that use the language ever
    * Web searches
    * Available jobs that require skills in the language
    * Developers’ favorites

    The following surveys attempt to rank which programming languages are most popular, each using a different measure.

    From a practical standpoint, I would recommend learning Java first. If you have access to an Apple Mac, also learn Objective-C. Either of these will give you a good grounding in object-oriented programming, which I strongly believe should be learned right from the start. Java and Objective-C are the two dominant programming languages in the world of smart phone development... Java on Android and Objective-C on all Apple platforms. Java has also become very dominant in the world of enterprise app development. Either of these would make a fine first language. Microsoft C# also is more or less equivalent to Java, so if you're more oriented toward the Windows world, C# would make sense. After those, it all depends on what your interests are. If you're interested in web development, basic HTML skills and Javascript (completely unrelated to Java) are important. But whatever you do, don't learn C++ as your first language. That would be a big mistake.

    The Operating system you are running on your system is your platform and your choice of OS may play a major part in the language you choose. Be aware that unforseen problems may push you to change platforms in the future, and that some language choices will make this very painful. Microsoft Windows and POSIX-compliant unix-like systems will most likely be your two main choices in technology.

    For a good dynamic site, you need JavaScript enabled and a good framework for this, such as jQuery, to sweeten your life taking care of the affairs of the browser, adding features, etc. without, with one-side language server as PHP, Python or Perl, your site will be good as all changes to the page, return to the server.

    I will say it will be either PHP or ASP.

    However I will still prefer PHP because classic ASP is retiring in favor of ASP.NET. .Net Framawork is extremely bulky and need spend a lot of time to learn it. On the other hand, PHP is simple to install and use. Besides, PHP can easily integrates with Apache or IIS. You no need expensive software to get start, you only need your brain and a text editor

    Which Programming language is best for dynamic web site development?

    Tcl (Tool Command Language) is a very powerful but easy to learn dynamic programming language, suitable for a very wide range of uses, including web and desktop applications, networking, administration, testing and many more. Open source and business-friendly, Tcl is a mature yet evolving language that is truly cross platform, easily deployed and highly extensible.

    Tk is a graphical user interface toolkit that takes developing desktop applications to a higher level than conventional approaches.
