Seems like the firewall at yer university has a list of webpages that cannot be reached, can't be done anything about it (in a legal way) to change it. I can think of a way surrounding it but that would take too long to figure out...

But most likely you want to get on a site that is a security risc anyways because of spam and virusses etc. So I don't blame them to secure their university as much as possible.

That makes me think, you prolly wanted to download free stuff from somewhere... I can tell you this, lot's of spam begin with free this, free that that will open a box asking if you trust there software and if clicked yes, you have another icon on yer desk for some porn site. Or did you hear of Kazaa? Did you notice the popups after installing? Yeah, I know, you can download stuff for free with it including virusses.

So i must say, don't worry you can't get on those sites... It's for yer own safety and that of yer university.
