If you are in the health industry, will having XP installed anywhere on your network be a violation of the HIPAA/HITECH act?

What do they have to do with Microsoft Operating Systems? The only thing that has changed about windows Xp is you can no longer get updates. If it came with your computer you already bought the system.

The more ********s are concerned the more places will have to consider upgrading. I understand it's a pretty friendly platform but with the type information we're being forced to give providers as well as the sensitivity of medical conversations, it would be best if people could just say I'll not do business here.
