C++, move counter to begining of program like in Assembly

Hey, I am writing an open-source game that is to be true to *6bit genesis type games. I am writing it in C++. Is there a (Must be SAFE) way to move the counter to the beginning of the binary to effectively "Reset" the game? You can do this in assembly but its not the language I'm working in.

    thanks
