I would very much like to de-Google my life--private search engines, no Gmail, Apple Maps instead of Google Maps, etc. However, my ISP is Google Fiber, so is there any use in doing those things? Does Google still see everything I do because they're my ISP? I have been trying to get a sensible answer to this for a year--have talked to Fiber people and can't get an intelligible answer from them.
